A espacialidade do Brasil africano, a governança secular escravocrata e as perspectivas de uma articulação antirrracista para o território nacional

Abstract

To express fundamental aspects of Afro-Brazilian Geography, the article uses references from cartographic and photographic languages ​​in a historiographical, geopolitical and geopolitical perspective, revealing distinct territorialities in space and time, this because there is an unassumed secular coexistence, governed by a geography the inexistence, based on the hostility of the theme, the omission of information and the official errors and mistakes, which function as basic strategies of the State for the maintenance of the dominant conservative, oligarchic, segregating and prejudiced system. The growing decrease in the prestige of Geography and Cartography in power structures; the fragmentary model of dealing with the country's secular and pending territorial demands, as well as the maintenance of the dominant racist social thought, with regard to the African matrices in the territory and the Brazilian people, constitute basic barriers in the effective implementation of public and private policies permanent, lasting and articulated in Brazil. In this paper we seek to assist in expanding knowledge about the conflicting geographical references of contemporary African Brazil and bring other elements to understand the spatial configurations and governance of Afro-Brazilian territories, at permanent risk and with no defined place in the nation.
