Composição bromatológica da silagem de dois cultivares de cana-de-açúcar tratadas com doses crescentes de cal virgem

O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar a silagem de dois cultivares de cana-de-açúcar tratadas com doses crescentes de cal virgem microprocessada. Foram utilizados dois cultivares de cana-de-açúcar (IAC 862480 e RB 867515) tratados com três doses de cal virgem microprocessada (0; 0,5 e 1,0% do peso verde da cana). Utilizou-se silos experimentais de PVC, com 10 cm de diâmetro e 50 cm de comprimento, dotados de válvula de “Bunsen” para escape dos gases. Foram analisados os teores de matéria seca, proteína bruta, fibra bruta, extrato etéreo, matéria mineral, fibra em detergente neutro, fibra em detergente ácido e pH. As doses de cal elevam as porcentagens de extrato etéreo das variedades de cana-de-açúcar IAC 862480 e RB 867515. A aplicação de cal virgem promove aumento nos teores de matéria seca e matéria mineral da variedade IAC 862480 ensilada. Os teores de fibra bruta e proteína bruta não são influenciados pelo tratamento com cal.
