Thinking about breaking ties and relationships in life can be considered a symbolic loss and, therefore, tends to cause different subjective and individual responses in people. In this way, intending reflections on the rupture of affective relationships between men who consider themselves cisgender homosexuals is the central objective of this research. To do so, we are based on theoretical references that explore the theme of mourning and studies on sexual and gender diversity. As a method, this study included field research based on the qualitative method, with interviews with gay men who experienced an emotional-sexual rupture. Therefore, six interviews were carried out, both in person and online, depending on the preference of each participant. Each narrative gives expression to a particularity in the way of experiencing grief according to the interviewees' reports. Through these narratives, we can understand that there are factors that lead individuals who do not fit into heteronormative norms to experience grief in isolation, without having support and welcoming networks.
Jose Valdeci Grigoleto Netto Copyright (c) 2024 Revista PsiPorã https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17605 Mon, 06 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Propriedades Psicométricas do Inventário de Ciúme Romântico- ICR https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17485
Jealousy is an emotion that involves the fear of losing a valued relationship. Due to its presence in most relationships, instruments were developed to measure it. Among them, there is the Romantic Jealousy Inventory- ICR. The present study verified the factorial structure of this instrument through Confirmatory Factor Analysis. 499 Brazilians participated, 62.1% women. The results indicated the bifactor structure as the one that best suited the data. However, the hierarchical structures and six correlated factors also showed adequate adjustment indexes. In the study, the factors were named according to the content and in the following order: Romantic Jealousy, Pathological Jealousy, Aggression, Mistrust, Investigation and Insecurity. The ICR presents good indicators of validity and precision, and can be useful, for example, in the practice of Clinical Psychology.
Maria Clara Moreira de Lima, Vicente Cassepp-Borges, Tiago Azevedo Marot Copyright (c) 2024 Revista PsiPorã https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17485 Mon, 06 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Representativeness and belonging: https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17168
Through qualitative field research, this study sought to understand the different possibilities of diversity programs to reach workers from different social groups. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with three workers from companies that have diversity programs. The analysis was based on the approach of socio-historical psychology, given its dialectical character, having as its main tool the analysis of the meaning cores. The results indicate a positive influence of the existence of organizational diversity programs on the sense of organizational belonging of workers who make up these groups. It was also observed that difficulties related to identification with diversity groups can lead workers not to adhere to these organizational policies. It is concluded that companies that have effective diversity programs have greater chances of attracting and retaining people belonging to minority groups, however, this effectiveness is directly linked to the adhesion of workers to the diversity initiatives promoted by the organizations.
Monica Carvalho Copyright (c) 2024 Revista PsiPorã https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17168 Mon, 06 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Cognitive assessment of drivers and traffic professionals in an intelligence measure https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17194
This paper presents psychometric studies with the Matrix of General Intelligence - MIG test, which aims to assess general non-verbal intelligence, through tasks related to inferential reasoning, in deducing relationships between objects. Data were collected in psychological assessment clinics to obtain the Brazilian National Driver's License, with 162 professional drivers and 213 non-professional drivers, candidates for the first driver's license. In the study, the group of professionals demonstrated a lower performance than the other group. In the correlations between age, education and test scores, the data revealed that the older the people, the lower the score. There was a significant decline in the correlation between the test result and education. When the sample is divided into two groups of professional and non-professional drivers, this decrease in the magnitude of the correlation is not very significant. In the consistency procedures by different applied methods, Cronbach's alpha of 0.87 was found; in the Rasch model 0.86; in the method of halves 0.92; and in the test-retest 0.88, indicating reduced coefficients of measurement error, with regard to the internal consistency of the items and temporal stability. It is relevant to consider the need for scientific research in the context of traffic.
Ivan Santana Rabelo, Ana Carolina Siqueira, Natalia Chaleau de Lima Souza, Tatiane Karina de Oliveira Sousa, Zenir Alves Pascutti Copyright (c) 2024 Revista PsiPorã https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17194 Mon, 06 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000 CHARACTERIZATION OF ADOLESCENTS COMPLYING WITH OPEN SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL MEASURE: A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17567
The article aims to describe the sociodemographic profile of adolescents in conflict with the law and socio-educational measures in an open environment in the municipality of Volta Redonda/RJ. This is documentary research with analysis of the records of 28 adolescents assisted by the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance, during the period from November 2021 to April 2022. The data was organized by an analysis script with the categories: age, ethnicity, gender, family composition, per capita income, type of crime committed and evolution of the socio-educational plan. The results show that most adolescents are male, black, aged between 13 and 15 years old, come from households headed by women, with a family income between 1 and 2 minimum wages, have committed drug trafficking crimes or theft, served an assisted release or community service order, and did not commit crimes again. It is concluded that the phenomenon of adolescents in conflict with the law is crossed by several variables, demanding effective public policies for this population.
Antonio Augusto Pinto Junior, Hiago Teixeira Damaciano Copyright (c) 2024 Revista PsiPorã https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17567 Mon, 06 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000 CONCEPTUAL MAP FOR A CARTOGRAPHIC INTRODUCTION https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/psipora/article/view/17050
This article refers to a mapping of the conceptual processes that occurred to the author(s) during the survey of the dynamics of the Homeless Population (PSR) in the city of Dourados, MS – Brazil. From the conceptions of theoretical and practical fields, observations, experiences, readings and memories, from debates in the research group TDI - Território, Discurso e Identidade and, also, added to the considerations of the board in the qualification exam of the dissertation produced in the Program of Graduate in Psychology at the Federal University of Grande Dourados, a word cloud was built with the concepts of Capitalism, Coloniality and Territory, among others, to analyze their crossings in the PSR. This conceptual mapping was constructed with the objective of elaborating the perceptions shaped in the research elaboration and in the reflections on the PSR. The end result was the production of writing based on the cartographic model, as it follows the clues in the conceptual development and actions, without pre-established metrics. We point out a selective (in)visibility of the PSR before other groups and the State. Along the way, we observe an object in constant movement that does not allow watertight conclusions and we realize that it is essential to consider the social reality found by the PSR for new productions that may result in significant products of reception and assistance to this group. In this way, this text is addressed to social scientists, geographers and historians who research the PSR group.
