In the study of Textual Linguistics (LT), there is a complex relationship between language, world and thought in discourse. It is in the interaction of these instances that meaning is given. When it is produced, the discourse, vehicle and product of this interrelationship, is naturally organized in a web of phenomena that mark the efforts of the interactants, both for a wanting to say and for an understanding of what is being said. The present article deals with aspects of the construction and negotiation of meanings in discourse, as well as describing the insertion, maintenance, retaking, transformation of discourse objects through the processes of reference, considering the approaches of Cavalcante (2011, 2014), Koch (2008; 2011), Marcuschi (2000, 2005) and others. For this analysis, they served as corpus non-traditional journalistic notes, called Power without modesty, because their texts, in addition to historical-political content, bring together multimodal aspects of criticism, irreverence and humor, which increase the possibilities of apprehension and construction of meaning.Downloads
